A collaboration with artist Chloé Royer, whose work explores representations of bodies, fauna and flora. Her sculptures, titled Soins infirmés, question the living, transformation and hybrid forms.
My work consisted in sculpting vegan leather over structures made of polystyrene and fibreglass. The complexity of the organic forms led me to adapt my skills and develop new textile-shaping techniques, working with tension, volume and the wrapping of the material.
This collaboration was an opportunity to experiment on unusual pieces and to strengthen my technical command of non-standard forms.
