Divan

The library of the Campo Adentro shepherds' school is made up of a bench, close to a divan, surrounded by three shelves. Its architecture draws on the shepherds' huts of the past: refuges, resting places and spaces of transmission.

On this project I worked as an upholsterer alongside designer Sina Sohrab. I shaped the seat padding, made of foam on a wooden frame, seeking a balance between comfort, use and integration into the whole.

The padding is wrapped in a made-to-measure textile cover, cut from a Kvadrat fabric and fitted precisely to the dimensions of the piece.
